Hi, I'm Sesilia, an advanced skin specialist and the founder of The Skin Co Clinic. My clinic in Palmers Green is private and one-to-one, so it's just you and me, and your appointment is never rushed.
I take time to understand your skin, your routine and your concerns, so you feel confident about your treatment and about caring for your skin at home.
Your questions, answered
Is it right for my skin?
Yes. The facial is tailored on the day, so it suits most skin types. If you have a specific concern, we'll talk it through in your consultation.
Do the extractions hurt?
Most people find them a little uncomfortable rather than painful. I'm gentle, I only extract where it's needed, and I'll check in with you throughout.
Is it relaxing?
Yes. Between the steam, the face and neck massage and the cool ice globes, most clients find it really relaxing.
Will I be sold lots of products?
No. I'll only recommend what your skin actually needs, and often that means simplifying what you already use. There's never any pressure to buy.
How long does it take?
Around 75 minutes, including your skin consultation.
How does the £20 deposit work?
You pay £20 when you book online to secure your appointment. It's taken off your total, so you pay the remaining £59 on the day.
What if I need to cancel or move my appointment?

Is there parking?
Yes, there's parking at the clinic.
How often should I have a facial?
Every 4 to 6 weeks works well for most people. I'll recommend what suits your skin.
Does dermaplaning make hair grow back thicker?
No. It removes fine facial hair without changing how it grows back.
Will my skin be red afterwards?
You may notice some temporary pinkness, especially after extractions. It usually settles within a few hours.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
It's best to leave your skin make-up free for the rest of the day.
Can I add LED or anything else?
Yes. LED light therapy and other add-ons are available at an extra cost. Just ask during your consultation.
Can I book if I'm pregnant, breastfeeding or using skin medication?
Please message me before booking so we can talk about what's suitable for you.
